DRS extends its local business in Switzerland

DRS continues to strengthen its operation in Switzerland and appoints a new Managing Director.

On June 1, 2008, DRSdigital AG launched its operating business in Switzerland with headquarters in Zug. The launch represents another important step in DRS's international expansion.

Jan Hoffmeister, 39, has been appointed Managing Director of DRSdigital AG effective June 2, 2008. As Managing Director, he is responsible for expanding the Swiss business and ensuring that DRS's virtual data room product DRSdigital becomes a lasting and trusted presence in the Swiss market.

Formerly the director of corporate M&A at Siemens in Switzerland, Jan Hoffmeister brings over 15 years' experience in the field of corporate finance to DRS.

Alexandre Grellier, Managing Director of Data Room Services, commented on the appointment as follows: "We've found an expert in Jan Hoffmeister. He'll use his extensive experience in M&A to bring innovative ideas to our data room activities."

Jan Hoffmeister's first official act was to appoint Gabriel C. Gabriel, 26, Sales Manager of DRSdigital AG, effective June 1, 2008. Gabriel has wide experience in sales within the IT and telecommunications sector. He was previously a head-hunter with Michael Page.

As Sales Manager, Gabriel C. Gabriel will report directly to Managing Director Jan Hoffmeister. He will take technical direction from Maurice Grassau, Data Room Services' Global Head of Sales.
