Security standards
DRS has designed all of our solutions with your security needs in mind. Our solutions are continually scrutinized to ensure that they best serve the nature, volume and sensitivity of our client's data.
All DRS principals, directors, officers and employees are regularly trained in the security and privacy needs of our clients, other third party users of DRS solutions as well as all data handled at DRS; and, of course, are bound to strictest confidentiality.
The DRSDocViewer© is a stand-alone application, requiring absolutely no plug-ins or other third-party software; thereby avoiding the risks of browser-based web applications. The DRSDocViewer© as well as the DRSq+a tool® authenticate a user's authorizations and permissions. It tracks all user activity on all levels, e.g., logins, pages viewed, time viewed, pages bookmarked, pages saved, or pages printed. The DRSq+a tool also tracks all user activity.
Unlike browser-based solutions the DRSDocViewer© does not temporarily store the file or any portions thereof to the user's hard disc. The DRSDocViewer© disables the "Print Screen" function of an authorized user's computer. Certain users may be restricted to accessing the DRSDocViewer© only from an IP address or range, specified by the client.
The DRSDocViewer© has the capability of automatically generating a floating watermark, individualized by the user's name, time and time zone on either the screen, and/or if printing has been permitted, on the printout.
All communication between the DRSdigital (this includes the DRSDocViewer© and the DRSq+a tool® ) and the Data Room Services certified servers is currently based on an https connection using a SSL description with an AES encryption algorithm and a 256 bit key. These DRS connections are Verisign certified.
Our hosting facilities are ISO 9001:2000 and ISO/IEC 27001:2005 certified.
