Data Room Services supports WealthCap with a virtual data room for the sale of the Gropius Passagen property in Berlin

Frankfurt, December 22nd, 2011 - WealthCap, one of the largest providers of closed real estate property funds, approached the 3000 investors of the investment company H.F.S. Immobilienfonds Deutschland 11 GmbH & Co. KG in late November of 2011 and proposed the sale of the Gropius Passagen shopping center for a price of about 341 million Euro. The investors subsequently approved the sale.

With about 180 stores and service facilities and about 2100 parking spaces, the shopping center in Neukölln is one of the largest of its kind in Berlin and has received extensive remodeling and expansion measures through H.F.S.

DRS supported Munich-based WealthCap, a 100% subsidiary of UniCredit Bank AG, with a virtual data room for the sale. The DRS VDR is state-of-the art technology that enables the fast and secure exchange of transaction-related information. Addtionally, the parties involved in this particular sale utilized the integrated DRS Q&A Management platform to facilitate the question and answer process in the most secure and structured manner possible.
